How Crescent Began...

Crescent lives in the heart of my mother's grocery store — a store she opened fourteen years ago, though it was far from her first venture. Before that came a restaurant and a beauty supply. She built her way from minimum-wage jobs to entrepreneurship through sheer ambition, determination, and courage.

Tucked away in an Ethiopian grocery store is this perfect size coffee house. When I walked in, the aroma of fresh spices took me over, and I forgot I came for the matcha. Whatever was cooking, that's what I really asked for. The 2 ladies at the counter were great, very pleasant, and helpful. I ordered what I smelled cooking and a strawberry matcha. Everything was so good. This place is small, so if you wanna dine in, just get in where you fit in. Whenever I come back to this area, this will be my go-to spot!! I recommend it to you also!!

Probably the best coffee house in DFW! I had their strawberry matcha and omg it was amazing. I tried their beef sambusa and let me tell you, it was amazing. The barista lady was super kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!

The best coffee! The food and coffee was so fresh, and delicious! Some of the best breakfast food/African cuisine. The coffee is some of the best in town. Really flavorful and the coffee is imported from Ethiopia. Amazing hospitality.
